What's strange about life? It's that you think you already know what it's about. You know, life is unpredictable and some day in the near future you'll wake up without expecting anything and out of the blue it appears that it's the day that your life is changed forever, by something that happened during that particular day –blah blah blah. Probably we all may think that way. Or we all have shared that same thought in the past for a moment. I can tell that for sure. That's what we are supposed to think about life. However, it's exactly the opposite thing. We all have high expectations and we're waiting for something or someone amazing to come and make our life lightened. We actually expect too much from life itself. And as a consequence, we tend to forget to look around us. We are looking so desperately for something that we are becoming too blind to understand that this very something is in front of us. It was there all the time when we were upset about when it would show up. Yes, life is so unpredictable. But we never see its signs and the way we're thinking is wrong.
The way life is unpredictable is very funny indeed. Most important rule: When you think that something -anything- is going to happen and you are absolutely sure about that, then I guarantee you that it will never happen. Or it will differently. Or not in that period of time. Just not as you imagined it.
How sad thing is when people are often disappointed by not finding already the spark they were looking for? The spark that would make their daily life interesting enough for them, because they are used to all that great happenings in other people’s lives they watch on television, movies, novels and so on. We think the way we live is miserable, boring and not so special as we wish, we do not appreciate anything and we are looking for perfection as well. Perfection unfortunately or not (I would say fortunately, unless world would be boring), does not exist. The sooner we realize it, the better we feel. We’re searching too much, we’re thinking too much, and we’re hoping too much. “Let it be” is the best solution. What goes around comes around, anyway.
You know, you meet thousands of people hoping that someone may be what you are looking for.
The point is however that this person has always been right next to you.
